01 — What we build
Four kinds of work, done properly.
We’d rather do four things well than forty things fast. Every job gets one foreman, a written scope and a price that holds.

Cabinets, counters, lighting and layout, planned around how you actually cook.

Tile that stays tight, showers that drain, rooms that feel larger than they are.

Cedar, pressure-treated or composite, framed to outlast the finish.

Second floors, bump-outs and in-law suites, tied into the house you already have.
02 — Recent work

The Marblehead attic kitchen
- Where
- Marblehead, MA
- Scope
- Roofline opened up, new kitchen from the studs out
- Time
- 8 weeks, fall 2025
- Crew
- Dan, Tom and Luis
- 1Two skylights over the sink wall
- 2Walnut tall cabinet, fridge built in
- 3Nine-foot island, solid top
The family wanted daylight, not another dark galley. We opened the ceiling into the roof pitch, framed in two skylights and built the cabinetry around a nine-foot island.
See more projects03 — Who’s on your job
One crew. Every day.
Dan Moretti started Harbor Stone in 2010 with a rule that hasn’t changed: the people who finish your house are on our payroll, not a stranger’s.
That means the carpenter who builds your cabinets is the same one who hangs them. It costs us more. It’s why people call us back.

04 — Neighbors say
Word travels fast on the North Shore.
“They showed up at 7 every morning, same three guys, and swept up at 4:30. Our kitchen came in two days early and the quote never moved by a dollar.”
Karen & Bill P., MarbleheadKitchen remodel
“Dan walked the job with me before he wrote a number. He talked me out of moving a wall that would have cost $9,000 and made no difference. That’s why I hired him.”
Joanne R., PeabodyBathroom renovation
“Our old deck was sagging off the house. The new one is framed like a bridge. Two winters in and not a single loose board.”
Mike D., BeverlyDeck rebuild
“We added a second floor over the garage for my mother-in-law. Permits, inspections, all handled. She says it’s the best room in the house.”
Sarah L., SwampscottAddition
“I got four quotes. Harbor Stone was the only one that listed every line. Nothing was a surprise on the final invoice.”
Tony F., DanversKitchen & mudroom
“Small old Salem house, tight stairs, crooked everything. They never once complained. The tile work in the bath is better than the hotel I stayed in last month.”
